Partnership Ministries

We work in partnership with other Churches and organisations in Canterbury, resourcing them with finance, people and facilities.

Street Pastors

Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems: engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue. It was pioneered in London in January 2003 by Rev Les Isaac, Director of the Ascension Trust, and has seen some remarkable results, including drops in crime in areas where teams have been working. There are now over 100 teams around the United Kingdom.

Livability is a disability charity that connects people with their communities. We tackle social isolation and the barriers that can cause this in the lives of disabled and vulnerable people.
Through a wide range of disability, education, training and community services, we promote inclusion and wellbeing for all. Together, we work to see people take part, contribute and be valued.

Kent Christian Union is a "missional community" - a group of Christian students from different churches, united together with the vision to give every student on campus the chance to hear and respond to the Gospel. They encourage students to find a local church during their time here in Canterbury. They also greatly value fellowship with other Christians, which is why they we meet every Tuesday in Rutherford Lecture Theatre 2 at 7:30pm

The CU is a place for everyone of any background and belief! Their mission as a CU is to have a great time with one another, explore Christianity and share the love of Jesus.
