Yesterday our Make Lunch Cookery School ladies graduated with certificates, yummy cheese scones, brownies and big smiles! Our amazing Lynn has led them over 5 weeks covering main courses and desserts, sending them home each time with a recipe card, equipment and enough ingredients to re-cook at home for their families.
The ministry has led to some of their teenagers coming to Cafe Lumen, children booked in to Holiday Club, as well as visits to Hotspot and plans to meet up at our Community BBQ.
We’re hoping to run the cookery school again next Spring so look out for more info nearer the time if you’d like to join Lynn’s team of lovely helpers or if you know of someone who would be blessed by this ministry.
